Julian Homes is owned and operated by Marlo and Kathy Julian.

Marlo started in construction as a carpenter's apprentice in 1966 working in Fairfax County, Virginia. He eventually became a master carpenter as well as a licensed master electrician and plumber. From 1987 to 1993, Marlo was a superintendent for a large-volume builder in Woodbridge, Virginia. After six years, he decided it was time to start his own company.

Julian Homes, Inc. was founded in 1993.

Kathy Julian's experience in construction began in 1982 when she worked for a large builder in Tyson's Corner, Viriginia. There she performed accounting duties such as accounts payable, material ordering, and scheduling. She went on to work for several other large builders gaining experience in various parts of the construction industry before founding Julian Homes, Inc. with Marlo.
